Hi to everyone

This is my first post,

I need a little bit of advice

My partner owns a Flyer LE by Tiffen and recently we got a Panasonic AGHPX3000

By Using the 3000 on this steady-cam we work at the limit weight of the flyer.

Could you please advice me in any way possible to resolve the weight problem, or release the pressure from the arm, perhaps with a hardware update?

Any idea would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance

Hi Yiannis,

Welcome on this very nice board of steady related information !
The Panasonic camcorder has a weight of 10.5 lbs which leaves you almost 9 lbs of extra payload. You donĀ“t need a battery behind the camera,
you can also remove the viewfinder. These are the 2 mainly removable weight parts. It now comes to how much of other stuff
you place on the camera.

Like a remote follow focus moter + receiver, like wireless microphone receivers, like which glass, Fujinon or Canon, like mattebox etc etc..
Other thing you can try is several different batteries. I mean, if you make the post longer, maybe 1 heavey battery and 1 small battery is enough to

Good luck,

Best, Erik
