mouser.com and digikey.com have some of the connectors you might want. sjmediasystem.com has some of the mogami cable you might want to use available by the foot. Some connectors unfortunately seem to only be available by special order from the manufacturer. You will also want some heat shrink tubing, a heat gun and a good soldering station. Small lemo connectors are a pain in the ass to solder so don't expect good results right away if ever.

Hi Adam
May I say like many others we have $1000's of dollars of cables some made by Terry West (great cable maker )and a local guy(in Australia). If you don't know exactly what you are doing is it worth the grief and worry of if you didn't wire the cable exactly right and your time to make it .I have found it much cheaper to just call Terry and I have the cable in a few days and I sleep well at night knowing it 100% right .
Just my 2 cents
All the best

Hi Adam..............What Louis said. Unless you're skilled at cable making or have the time to invest in that particular skill or even better, have a mentor who can show you the ropes, I would purchase the cables you need from the professional fabricators.
But if you do have the time and skill be sure to purchase a proper soldering "Station" and not just an iron. Stations heat up much quicker, are more consistant in temp and typically offer a better selection in tips. I've used a Hakko 936 for many years but just recently move up to the Weller WD1000m. Both fine tools.
The other biggy is a heat sink. Buy one, use it, love it. It will keep your heat "shrink" from shrinking on your solder joint during the solder and become imovable to cover the contact.

As far as contacts both lemo and Fischer websites can direct you to local distributors. Both vendors will be happy to send you catalouges for free. One thing to remember that especially when you are only buying 3 or 4 connectors at a time: Sales reps expect YOU to know the exact part # you need. So learn your connectors.

Good Luck.
