Matt Doll here in Wilmington NC

The director for our first episode wants to do low mode shot with a low angle prism. I tested it last year and found it did not give me that dramatic of a visual in comparison to a 12mm lens scraping the ground. On top of that I have a U2 top stage which the prism was actually seeing. I have pulled the nose box before and I will have to if I do the shot. Luckily it is an Arri 416 it is manageable. Has anyone done this, or has no one done it because of what I found in my initial test (that the image is not that much different).

Interesting side note- the director used to be a DP. I asked my DP if is he interested in doing the [prism]shot, and he said that the director has made up his mind, I need to figure it out. I am up for the challenge but --Please help.
