For about the last two weeks every time I log on and click on "View New Content" I get the "Sorry, no new content found." message, even if I haven't logged on for several days and I see new messages.  Any ideas?

Hi, Jim.

This can happen if you have another device accessing the forum regularly, like a mobile with the Tapatalk app.

"View New Content" displays posts since your last visit so try logging out on other devices.

I don't have the tapatalk app on either of my other devices and I am not logged in anywhere else.

Jim,

Make sure that you didn't accidentally change the time period of "new content." It's very easy to do, especially on a tablet. If you set it to "six months" instead of "content you have not read yet," you'll have this problem. When you click "View New Content," look to the left under time period to see the setting.

Actually type in Steadicamforum.com and try from there. I've found if my browser autocompletes to some other page on the site it often doesn't work. Also if you are on a page other than the forum listing new content may be something other than what you are expecting.

Sorry for the trouble, Jim.

When you're on the "New Content" page, does the left menu with the check marks look like this?

Apparently I don't have permission to view that attachment but I found the problem.  Somehow, in the "Other" section of the new content page the "Items I participated in" got checked.  I never even noticed that section before.  Once I unchecked it, problem solved!

Thanks for the help.

That's great, Jim.

(I fixed the attachment permissions in this topic too.)
