On the PRO sled I have used a Hytron 120 on the front and dionics on the back with no problem for years. They are on seperate circuits and no problem.

I finally figured out a way to balance the rig without the 5.5lb hytron up front and went all dionics.

As long as the batteries are on separate circuits you'll never have a problem mixing types. It's when you want to parallel the batteries that the issues arise.

Curt Schaller and Len Donovan came to my house to give me a demo on the Artrmis EFP Pro HD-SDI Sled. Curt told me that you could mix batteries with no problem on the Artemis.
